Below is a Dáil Report of Parliamentary Questions I tabled to the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport in relation to the need to increase funding in 2020 for the non-national road network.
The County and Regional roads, particularly in Cavan and Monaghan, carry a huge volume of traffic as both counties have a relatively small national road network.
Many of our businesses are sited along such roads and they are important not just for residents but also for local enterprise.
