Cavan/Monaghan Fianna Fáil TD Brendan Smith has been informed by the Minister for Transport that the Road Safety Authority has advised that it is prioritising driving testing for essential workers and has set up a dedicated email (urgentdrivingtest@rsa.ie) where applicants can request to be given priority.

The Minister stated that these requests are prioritised during the scheduling process with cancellation slots being offered where possible.

Minister Ryan was replying to representations from Deputy Brendan Smith in relation to delays in persons having driving tests.
