Cavan/Monaghan Fianna Fáil TD Brendan Smith had useful discussions with Co Cavan IFA Executive Officers in relation to CAP Funding and CAP Reform.

Issues concerning livestock exports to Northern Ireland and Britain and the current review of the Nitrates Action Programme were also discussed in detail. All issues of great importance to the farming community and Deputy Brendan Smith will convey concerns to Minister Charlie McConalogue.
