Well done to Justice for the Forgotten on another appropriate and sombre event to mark the 48th Anniversary of Dublin Monaghan Bombings of 17th May 1974.

There were many dark days in our country during the era known as The Troubles but the desperate atrocities inflicted on innocent people in Dublin and Monaghan that day caused the greatest loss of life with 33 people killed and hundreds injured.

Sadly nobody has been brought to Justice for these heinous crimes and the families, with great grace and dignity, continue to campaign to get the truth about the perpetrators of those crimes.

An Taoiseach in a very appropriate speech emphasised again the need for legacy issues to be fully addressed.
