Cavan/Monaghan Fianna Fáil Brendan Smith TD has welcomed the approval by his colleagues, Norma Foley TD, Minister for Education of an extension and refurbishment works at Darley National School, Cootehill.

“The new extension will consist of a mainstream classroom and also a Special Education Teaching Room. 

These building works will enhance considerably the schools overall accommodation.  I know that the Principal, Derek Middleton, and his staff colleagues, the Board of Management and the Parents’ Association have worked hard to bring this project to this stage. I wish all the school community every success with this welcome building project”, stated Brendan Smith TD
