Cavan/Monaghan Fianna Fáil T.D. Brendan Smith has been informed by the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform that the Part 9 Planning Application phase in respect of the provision of a new Garda District Headquarters in Bailieborough will be concluded shortly.
The Minister in his reply to Deputy Brendan Smith’s Parliamentary Question in Dáil Éireann stated –
“At this point in time it is not possible to give a definitive completion date for the construction of the new Station until the Planning process, the required Public Procurement process and Contract Award are completed”.
