FOREIGN AFFAIRS COMMITTEE MEETS AGAIN REGARDING BREXIT – BRENDAN SMITH TD

Another Committee meeting this evening with Brexit as the main issue.

From the Oireachtas Press:

In advance of the meeting, the Chairman of the Joint Committee Deputy Brendan Smith said the Committee is eager to examine the issues facing us in relation to Brexit, and its impact, especially in a ‘No Deal’ scenario, with just 44 days to go until the withdrawal date.

‘With that in mind, all members of the Committee very much welcome the opportunity to hear from Minister Coveney as Brexit potentially impacts on many areas of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Defence across Ireland and beyond’, said Deputy Brendan Smith.
