Below is the Dáil Report of Parliamentary Questions I tabled to the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport in relation to the need to re-introduce a specific funding programme for the Local Improvement Scheme as  existed up until 2012.

 A limited Scheme is funded by the Department of Community and Rural Development but with many years of delays in having applications approved in Cavan and Monaghan and elsewhere it is essential that the Transport Department provide substantial funding for such necessary road repairs.
